Brake Caliper Piston, Removing And Installing, Single-Piston Brake: Removing

- The Brake Caliper Is Removed.
NOTE:
Place a wooden board into the recess so the piston is not damaged.
-- Push out the pistons from the brake caliper via the brake hose bore hole -arrow- using compressed air.

-- Carefully pry out the protective cap -1- and the seal from the brake caliper with the -VAS40338- -2- using gentle lever movements, and do not damage the groove in the brake caliper for the cap while doing so.

NOTE:
When removing, make sure that the cylinder surface is not damaged.
