-- Remove the bolts from the lid side.

-- Lower the headliner in the area of the hinge, remove the nuts and remove the bracket.

-- Adjust the hinge to the markings and fasten with the nuts.

-- Position the lid on the hinge and secure it using the bolts.

-- Engage the gas filled strut.

-- Close the lid carefully.

-- Align the lid to the sides and adjust the height. Refer to REAR LID, ADJUSTING .

-- Tighten the nuts and bolts to the tightening specification.
