Tail Lamp, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Open the luggage compartment side trim cover.

-- Remove the threaded pins -2-.

-- Pivot the tail lamp -1- outward -arrow- and loosen the bolts from the clip nuts.

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Open the luggage compartment side trim cover.

-- Left: remove the vehicle tool kit.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Loosen the screws -4- three turns.

-- Release the catch in direction of -arrow A- and guild the bracket out of the guide in direction of -arrow B-.

-- Remove the bracket to the luggage compartment side while doing so the retaining pin -1- is guided out of the body.

-- Remove the threaded pins -2-.

-- Pivot the tail lamp -1- outward in direction of -arrow- and loosen the bolts from the clip nuts.

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".

-- Remove the cover -2- from the tail lamp assembly in direction of -arrow A-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and -4-.

-- Pivot the tail lamp -1- outward in direction of -arrow B- and loosen the bolts from the clip nuts.

-- Disconnect the connector.
