Left/Right Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174- / -L175-, Left/Right High Beam Headlamp Bulb -M30- / -M32-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn the light switch to position "0".
-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
-- Do not press the flasher.
-- Remove the housing cover -1- from the headlamp.
-- Release the bulb -2- from the left headlamp by turning it counter-clockwise -arrow- and from the right headlamp by turning it clockwise.
-- Remove the bulb from the housing.
NOTE:
If the right headlamp bulb cannot be removed as described on vehicles with a TDI engine, then the fuel filter must be detached and set aside with the lines attached. Refer to FUEL FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CRUA] / OVERVIEW - FUEL TANK [CNTC, CNSB] .
