-- Release the retainer -arrow- and remove the vacuum hose -1-.

-- Free up the vacuum hose on the air duct pipe -2-.

Vehicles with 1.8L/2.0L TFSI engine

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC, CYFB] / ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CZPB, CZRA, DBFB] .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct pipe.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hose -2-.

-- Press the release button on the vacuum hose -1- and remove the hose from the vacuum pump.

Vehicles with 1.6L/2.0L TDI engine

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CNSB, CNTC, CYFB] / ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CZPB, CZRA, DBFB] .

-- Free up the vacuum hoses -arrows-.

-- Loosen the hose clamps -1 and 2- and remove the air duct pipe.

-- Release the retainer -arrow- and remove the vacuum hose -1-.

Vehicles with 2.5L TFSI engine

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER [CNTC] / AIR FILTER [CZRA] .

-- Remove the vacuum hose -2-.

-- Free up the vacuum hose -1-, pull it out of the brake booster vacuum pump and remove it.

-- If installed, disconnect the connector -1- from the Vacuum Sensor -G608-.

-- Carefully remove the vacuum hose -2- from the brake booster.
