Accelerator Pedal Position Sensors -G79- / -G185-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and Note The Following :

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the surface of the knee airbag from mechanical stress.

After completing a procedure, perform a visual inspection to make sure that the surface of the knee airbag is not damaged.

-- Install the steering column cover. Refer to UPPER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING / LOWER STEERING COLUMN TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Depending on the engine/transmission combination, an adaptation must be performed after replacing.

If a corresponding menu item is in the engine electronics tree structure under "functions", perform the adaptation using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
