Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

The transmission is removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING[For transmission(s) 0GC]TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [For transmission(s) 0D9] .

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the transmission side sealing flange. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, TRANSMISSION SIDE .

-- Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1- for the Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 to 14- and loosen the oil pan upper section from the bonding.

First pry the oil pan upper section out on the transmission side. When prying out proceed carefully - risk of damaging the timing chain cover.

First pry the oil pan upper section out on the transmission side. When prying out proceed carefully - risk of damaging the timing chain cover.
