Emergency Release From P, AUDI TT: Procedure

-- Move the selector lever into "D/S" position.
-- Switch the ignition off.
-- Pull the parking brake button to activate the electro-mechanical parking brake.
-- Unclip the selector lever boot on both sides using the : 3409 in direction of -arrows- and fold it upward.
-- Release the catches -2- and remove the selector lever transmission range position display unit -1- upward.
-- Disconnect the connector -3-.
-- For example, release the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- -1- in direction of -arrow- using a screwdriver and hold it in this position.
- The solenoid releases the selector lever.
-- When the solenoid is released, press the button in the selector lever handle and move the selector lever out of "P".
- If the selector lever is shifted back into "P", the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- will mechanically lock the selector lever in the "P" position again. The solenoid must be released again.
