Replacing, Right Seal On Transmission Between Bevel Box And Transmission

General repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL REPAIR INFORMATION .

-- Remove the bevel gear. Refer to BEVEL BOX, REMOVING .

-- Place the :SMN372500 under the transmission.

-- Pry out the sealing ring on transmission using the :T20143/1 or :T20143/2 .

-- Coat outer circumference and sealing lips of new seal with transmission fluid.

-- Fill the space between the sealing- and dust lip -arrow- half way with sealing grease; sealing grease. Refer to the parts information.

-- Install the seal all the way in using the :T10243 . Be careful not to tilt it.

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, INSTALLING .

-- Check transmission fluid level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .
