Transmission Identification

The following specification is on top of the transmission (example):
- GKF = Transmission code letters
- 10.05.2 = Production date May 10th, 2002.
- 14 14 15 = Manufacturer identification
- 001: = Serial Number
NOTE:
In order to read the code the transmission support must be loosened and pushed rearward. Transmission support, Removing and installing. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING .
Depending on the version the code is additionally on the top of the transmission near the selector lever cable -arrows- .
The transmission code letters are also included on the vehicle data labels.
