Overview - One-Piece Oil Pan: Notes

- If large quantities of metal particles or abraded material are detected during engine repairs, it may mean the crankshaft or connecting rod bearings are damaged. To prevent subsequent damage, perform the following steps after completing the repair: carefully clean the oil channels and replace the oil spray jets, the oil filter housing with engine oil cooler and the oil filter.
- Oil spray jet and pressure relief valve. Refer to Figure.

- Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seal
- Always replace after removing.
- Oil Drain Plug
- 30 Nm
- Seal
- Always replace after removing.
- Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Figure.
- Oil Pan
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-ring
- Always replace after removing.
- Bolt
- 12 Nm +180°
- Always replace after removing.
- Oil Pump
- With vacuum pump
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Alignment Sleeve
- Toothed Belt
- Do not kink, turn or damage the toothed belt with sharp edges
- Removing:
- Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove the belt pulley side sealing flange. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Seal
- Always replace after removing.

- Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
