Left Flange Shaft, Removing And Installing: Removing
- Transmission installed
Observe general notes. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .
Follow the rules for clean working conditions. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
General repair instructions. Refer to GENERAL REPAIR INFORMATION .
-- Remove the drive axle from the left of the transmission -arrow-. Refer to DRIVE AXLE .
-- Mark the position of the nuts -arrows- for the left ball joint, and remove them.
-- If installed: Remove the nut -4- and bolt -1-, and set aside the Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- -3-.
-- Remove the left ball joint from the control arm.
Ignore -2-.
-- Remove the nut -1- for the coupling rod -3- from the left of the stabilizer bar -2-.
-- Move the left drive axle forward.
Pay attention that the drive axle surface protection is not damaged.
-- Move the left suspension strut to the outside and support it with the :2024A/1 as illustrated.
There is the risk of an accident due to loose support parts.
- Secure the securing pin and ball joint with the plug connector -arrow- and nut -1-.
-- Remove left flange shaft bolt by installing 2 bolts in flange and counter holding flange shaft with assembly lever.
-- Remove the flange shaft and the pressure spring.
