Gear Oil, Checking Level: Notes

This procedure contains mandatory replaceable parts. Refer to component overview prior to starting procedure.
Mandatory Replacement Parts
- Plug - Oil Filler Drain
- The bevel box has a separate gear oil fill.
- Pay attention to the general information. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION .
- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions. Refer to GUIDELINES FOR CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .
Test Conditions
- Move the vehicle onto a 4-column shop hoist or over a work pit so that it stands horizontal.
- The selector level is in "P".
- The parking brake button is pressed to activate the electro-mechanical parking brake.
- The engine is off.
