Engine Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover -5-. Refer to BULKHEAD .

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles with a left auxiliary radiator: remove the filler neck -2- for the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Refer to WINDSHIELD WASHER SYSTEM .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Free up the hose -2- from the EVAP canister.

-- Release the retainers with a screwdriver in direction of -arrow- and move the coolant expansion tank to the side.

-- Remove the caps over the front suspension strut threaded connections.

-- Position the :10-222A/31-1  and :10-222A/31-2  onto the mounts for the suspension struts.

• The ribs -arrow- face the direction of travel.

-- Position the :10-222A/4  with the :T40091/3  as shown.

-- Secure the :2024A/2  to the engine support with an M10 collar nut or an M10 nut and washer.

-- Install the additional tools on the right in the engine compartment as shown.

-- Engage the carabiner hook of the :10-222A/11  at the right engine lifting eye.

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and engine mount -1-.
