Transmission Fluid, Draining And Filling: Conditions

Move the vehicle onto a 4-column shop hoist or over a work pit so it is completely level.
Selector lever in "P".
The parking brake button is pressed to activate the electro-mechanical parking brake.
The engine is off.
Noise insulation removed. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .
The transmission fluid filter must always be replaced when changing the transmission fluid.
