EGR Cooler, Removing And Installing, Engine Codes CRFA, And CRFC: Removing

-- Remove the catalytic converter or the particulate filter. Refer to PARTICULATE FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING WITHOUT COOLING SYSTEM CHARGE KIT - ELECTRIC VACUUM PUMP .

-- Open the clamp -1- and disconnect the hose. Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Tie up the coolant pipe with for example cable ties.

-- Remove the bolts -1- using the :T10347  , and remove the nuts -2-.

-- Remove the connecting pipe -A-.

-- Open the clamps -arrows-, remove the coolant hoses, and remove the EGR Temperature Sensor -G98- -1- with the appropriate tool.

-- Remove the bolts -1- with the :T10501  , and remove the bracket for vacuum line -2-.

-- Remove the vacuum line from the EGR cooler.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and carefully remove the EGR cooler -A- through the tunnel.
