Ground Connection, Routing And Securing To Discharge Electrostatic Charge

After installing, check electrical connection on fuel filler neck metal ring to an empty spot on the body using an Ohm meter.

Specified Value: Approximately 0 Ω.

-- Route the ground connection as illustrated.

-- Make sure the following connectors are secure:

Connector -2- for ground connection on the threaded ring -3- of the fuel filler tube.

-- Engage the ground connection contact -1- in the mounting hole on the fuel tank -4- and then install the spacer -5-.

Connector -2- for the ground connection on the threaded ring -1- of the fuel filler tube.
Connector -3- for the ground connection on the protective plate -4- of the fuel filler tube.

-- Engage the ground connection contact -6- in the mounting hole on the fuel tank and then install the spacer -5-.
