Accelerator Pedal Position Sensors -G79- / -G185-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.Note The Following:

CAUTION:

There is a risk of causing damage to the surface of the knee airbag due to mechanical stress.

After performing work visually inspect that the surface of the knee airbag is undamaged.

-- Install the steering column cover. Refer to STEERING COLUMN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Depending on the engine/transmission version, adaption in the "Guided Functions" operating mode is necessary after replacing it. Perform the adaption, if a menu item is available in the "Guided Function". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
