Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

CAUTION:

- Never perform a function test by pulling by hand on the coolant pump control valve.

Do not engage or carry the coolant pump on the connector or the control valve.
Do not operate the control valve.
Replace the O-rings.

-- Clean and smooth the sealing surfaces of the O-rings.

-- Coat the new O-rings with coolant.

-- Install the toothed belt (adjust timing). Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

- The coolant system must be bled using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester after filling.

-- Fill and bleed the coolant circuit. Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
