Coolant Hoses With PRETENSIONED Spring Clamp, Installing

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Hose Clip Pliers:VAS6362
Release Tool:VAS531001

Clamp Open:

-- Push the spring clamps together with hose clip pliers until the clip engages.

-- The clamp is opened by this and the coolant hose can be removed.

-- The clamp cannot be removed from the coolant hose.

Clamp Closed:

-- Install the coolant hose.

-- Release the pretensioned spring clips as follows: insert the :VAS531001 as shown in the spring clip -1-. Release the retainer.

-- Depending on the available space, use the corresponding hook to release.
