1. Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Bolt
   • 8 Nm
3. Oil Dipstick Tube
4. Bolt
   • 8 Nm
5. Bolt
   • 8 Nm
6. O-Ring
   • Replace after removing
7. Splash Wall
8. Oil Pan Upper Section
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PAN UPPER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Tightening Sequence and Specification. Refer to Fig 3.
9. Oil Pan Lower Section
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Tightening Sequence and Specification. Refer to Fig 2.
10. Seal
    • Replace after removing
11. Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
12. Nut
    • 9 Nm
13. Seal
    • Replace after removing
14. Oil Drain Plug
    • 30 Nm
15. Bolt
    • For the oil pan lower section
    • Tightening Sequence and Specification. Refer to Fig 2.
16. Bolt
    • Replace after removing
    • For the oil pan upper section
    • Tightening Sequence and Specification. Refer to Fig 3.
17. Oil Pump
    • With vacuum pump
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
18. Alignment Sleeve
19. Seal
    • Replace after removing
20. Bolt
    • Replace after removing

      Pay attention to the different threaded connections:

      • Bolt with Torx-internal drive 12 Nm +180°
      • Bolt with hex fitting-external drive 10 Nm +180°
21. Bolt
    • Replace after removing
    • 8 Nm +90°
22. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing
23. Oil Intake Pipe
24. Toothed Belt
    • Do not kink, turn or damage the toothed belt with sharp edges
    • Removing:
      • Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
      • Remove the belt pulley side sealing flange. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
25. Cylinder Block
26. O-Ring
    • Replace after removing

-- Tighten the bolts in stages as follows:

• Replace the bolts after removing them.

-- Tighten the bolts in the steps in the sequence shown:

Oil pan noise insulation

Removing: 

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Release and remove the connector -arrow- from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Pull the pins out of the expanding rivets to remove.
