Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Loosen the fasteners -arrows-, and remove the oil pan noise insulation -1-.

One-Part Oil Pan: 

-- Remove the bolts -1- and remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- -3- with the seal -4-.

NOTE:

On the emissions standard EU5 the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- is secured with self-locking nuts.

Two-Part Oil Pan: 

-- Remove the nuts -1- and remove the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- -4- with the seal -2-.
