Backrest Latch Locking Mechanism, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Open convertible top.

-- Secure the convertible top compartment cover in the "open" position against unintentional closing, to do this the hinge must be pushed in the uppermost deviation point until stop -1- on the brace -2- -arrow-.

-- Remove the front rear panel trim panel, refer to FRONT REAR PANEL TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -4-.

-- Remove the backrest latch -3-.

-- Unclip the release cable -1- from the backrest latch and disengage the ends of the cable -2- from the lever.
