Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- /: N318, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- Clean a used valve for the camshaft adjustment as well as the mount in the cylinder head of contamination.

-- Coat the O-ring with engine oil.

TIP:

Also after tightening the bolts the valves can be lightly turned back and forth for the camshaft adjustment due to the vibration decoupling.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

After removing or replacing the Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 the adaptation values for the chain length must be adapted again.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select Diagnostic  operating mode and Start diagnostics  .

-- Select the Select individual test  tab and select the following tree structure consecutively:
