Charge Air Cooler Housing, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Replace the seals.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the PartsInformation.

-- Install the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338- . Refer to THROTTLE VALVE CONTROL MODULE -J338-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the air ducts with screw-type clamps. Refer to OVERVIEW - CHARGE AIR HOSE CONNECTIONS .

-- Connect the coolant hoses with the connector coupling. Refer to Fig 1.

NOTE:

Used coolant cannot be used again.

-- Fill the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Check the oil level.
