Servotronic Solenoid Valve -N119-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Replacement is only possible when the power steering gear is removed.

-- Place the vehicle on a hoist. Refer to RAISING AND LOWERING WITH OPEN AND CLOSED AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM .

-- Remove the power steering gear. Refer to HYDRAULIC STEERING GEAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Always the clean the power steering gear -1- near the solenoid valve -5- area.

-- Make sure no dirt gets into the power steering gear.

-- Remove the bolts -6-.

-- Remove the solenoid valve -5- from the power steering gear -1-.

-- Remove the screen -2- from the power steering gear -1- and clean the power steering gear if necessary.
