Final Drive 0BE, 0BF: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Faults on the rear final drive.

If the final drive was replaced, additional work is necessary. Refer to ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING REAR FINAL DRIVE 0BE, 0BF .

Tightening specifications, refer to FINAL DRIVE 0BE, 0BF OVERVIEW

-- Attach the drive shaft to the rear final drive. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING FROM REAR FINAL DRIVE AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the driveshaft INSTALL DRIVESHAFT ON REAR FINAL DRIVE .

-- Install the exhaust system and align free of tension. Refer to ENGINES CPNA - EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION , ENGINES CTUB - EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION , ENGINES CEUA, CGTA, CTFA & CTGA - EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION , ENGINES CDRA - EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION or ENGINES CEJA & CTNA - EXHAUST SYSTEM, INSTALLING WITHOUT TENSION .

-- Install the rear cross member. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY PANELS .

-- Check the gear oil level in the rear final drive. Refer to GEAR OIL, CHECKING LEVEL, 0BE, 0BF .

-- Check the ATF inside the rear final drive. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING, 0BE, 0BF .

If the final drive was replaced, additional work is necessary. Refer to ADDITIONAL WORK AFTER REPLACING REAR FINAL DRIVE 0BE, 0BF .
