1. Upper Transverse Link
   • Removing and installing, refer to UPPER TRANSVERSE LINK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Nut
   • Always replace if removed
3. Shim
4. Nut
   • 95 Nm
   • Always replace if removed
   • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
5. Adjustment Bolt
6. Bolt
   • 70 Nm +180°
   • Always replace if removed
   • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
7. Lower Transverse Link
   • Removing and installing, refer to LOWER TRANSVERSE LINK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
8. Nut
   • Always replace if removed
     CAUTION:

     • Do not tighten the threaded connection using the nut.
     NOTE:

     Axle alignment is necessary if the nut is loosened.

9. Spacer Tube
   • Always replace if removed
10. Bolt
    • 120 Nm +360°
    • Always replace if removed
    • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
      NOTE:

      Axle alignment is necessary if the bolt is removed.

11. Wheel Bearing Housing
12. Bolt
    • 90 Nm +90°
    • Always replace if removed
    • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
13. Tie Rod
    • Removing and installing, refer to TIE ROD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • Note the installation position:
      • Steel tie rod, refer to Fig 2
      • Aluminum cast tie rod, refer to Fig 3
14. Eccentric Screw
15. Eccentric Washer
16. Nut
    • 95 Nm
    • Always replace if removed
    • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
17. Bolt
    • 70 Nm +180°
    • Always replace if removed
    • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
18. Nut
    • Always replace if removed
19. Subframe
20. Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76- /Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77-
    • The sensor lever must point toward outside
    • Removing and installing, refer to Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76- /Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • The headlamp adjustment must be checked after loosening, refer to HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING .
    • If the level control system sensor was removed and installed on a vehicle with electronically controlled damping or if the linkage was loosened, the control position must be reprogrammed, refer to CONTROL POSITION, PROGRAMMING .
    • If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the Directional Stabilization Assistance Control Module -J759- must be calibrated again, refer to DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS FRONT CAMERA, CALIBRATING .
21. Bolt
    • 5 Nm
22. Bolt
    • 70 Nm +180°
    • Always replace if removed
    • Must be tightened in the curb weight position, refer to WHEEL BEARING IN CONTROL POSITION, LIFTING VEHICLES WITH AIR SUSPENSION .
23. Bolt
    • 5 Nm
24. Bracket

Installation position: 

• The marking -1- must be on the outside.
• The point on the triangle points upward.
