Over-Center Spring: Removing

-- Remove the instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left footwell vent. Refer to OVERVIEW - AIR ROUTING AND AIR DISTRIBUTION IN PASSENGER COMPARTMENT .

-- Actuate the clutch pedal -1- in direction of -arrow-. Press the T40025 over the stretched over-center spring -2-.

-- Press the clutch pedal down as far as the stop and remove the over-center spring downward with the assembly clamp.
