Clutch Slave Cylinder, Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
NOTE:
If damaged, replace the O-ring.
If the clutch slave cylinder is guided on at an angle, there is the danger that the plunger may be guided past the clutch release lever.
-- Preload the clutch slave cylinder -1- enough that the mounting bolt -3- can be inserted easily. Tightening specification -item 17- 17.
-- Press the clip -2- all the way in.
-- Push the hose/line assembly into the clutch slave cylinder until assembly audibly engages.
-- Pull on the hose/line assembly to make sure it is secure.
-- Bleed the clutch system. Refer to CLUTCH SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
-- Install the rear noise insulation, if equipped. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
