Overview - Electronic Damping

  1. Driving Profile Selection Switch Module -E592-
    • Component location: the Driving Profile Selection Switch Module -592- is installed in the instrument panel.
  2. Electronic Damping Control Module -J250-
    • Removing and installing. Refer to Electronic Damping Control Module -J250-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • Component location: the Electronic Damping Control Module -J250- is located behind the right luggage compartment side trim panel.
    • If the Electronic Damping Control Module -J250- is replaced, the control position must be programmed using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to CONTROL POSITION, PROGRAMMING .
    • If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the Directional Stabilization Assistance Control Module -J759- must be calibrated again. Refer to LANE ASSIST, CALIBRATING .
  3. Shock Absorber with Right Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N339-
  4. Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76- and Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77-
    • Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT REAR LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G76- / -G77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76- and Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77- were removed and installed or if the linkage was loosened, the control position must be reprogrammed on vehicles with electronically controlled damping using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to CONTROL POSITION, PROGRAMMING .
    • If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the Directional Stabilization Assistance Control Module -J759- must be calibrated again. Refer to LANE ASSIST, CALIBRATING .
    • On vehicles with automatic head lamp range control, perform headlamp basic setting. Refer to HEADLAMPS .
  5. Rear Body Acceleration Sensor -G343-
  6. Shock Absorber with Left Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N338-
  7. Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor -G341- and Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor -G342-
  8. Shock Absorber with Left Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N336-
  9. Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- and Right Front Level Control Sensor -G289-
    • Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT FRONT LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G78- / -G289-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- and Right Front Level Control Sensor -G289- were removed and installed or if the linkage was loosened, the control position must be reprogrammed on vehicles with electronically controlled damping using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to CONTROL POSITION, PROGRAMMING .
    • If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the Directional Stabilization Assistance Control Module -J759- must be calibrated again. Refer to LANE ASSIST, CALIBRATING .
    • On vehicles with automatic head lamp range control, perform headlamp basic setting. Refer to HEADLAMPS .
  10. Shock Absorber with Right Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N337-
