-- Place the vehicle on a hoist.

-- Remove the cover -1- and -2-. Refer To DIAGONAL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (A5 CABRIOLET) , DIAGONAL BRACE, SPORTBACK and DIAGONAL BRACE, CABRIOLET .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and then remove the diagonal brace -1- and -2-.
