Clamp
- Replaced together with the rubber bushing and stabilizer bar.
- The rubber bushing and clamp must not be separated from the stabilizer bar.
Bolt
- 25 Nm + 90° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Tighten evenly
Bolt
- 40 Nm + 90° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer To WHEEL BEARING WITH COIL SPRING, LIFTING TO CURB WEIGHT POSITION .
Bolt
- 40 Nm + 90° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer To WHEEL BEARING WITH COIL SPRING, LIFTING TO CURB WEIGHT POSITION .
Coupling Rod
- The coupling rod must be removed together with the stabilizer bar.
- Removing and installing, Refer To COUPLING ROD WITH STABILIZER BAR .
Nut
- Always Replace If Removed.
Stabilizer Bar
- Stabilizer must be removed together with coupling rod.
- Removing and installing, Refer To COUPLING ROD WITH STABILIZER BAR .
- The rubber bushing and clamp must not be separated from the stabilizer bar.
Bolt
- 70 Nm + 180° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer To WHEEL BEARING WITH COIL SPRING, LIFTING TO CURB WEIGHT POSITION .
Securing Clip

- 5 Nm
Nut
- Always Replace If Removed.
Upper Transverse Link
Bolt
- 115 Nm + 90° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- The bolts must not be loosened or tightened when the springs are installed. Release the coil springs using the spring tensioner before loosening or tightening.
Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76-
- Only sensors of the same version may be installed.
- Complete with components.
- The sensor lever points toward the outside.
- Replace in vehicle. Refer To LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR .
- After loosening, check basic setting of headlamp adjustment. Refer To HEADLAMP, ADJUSTING .
- If the sensor was removed and installed on a vehicle with electronically controlled damping or if the linkage was loosened, the control position must be reprogrammed. Refer To CONTROL POSITION, PROGRAMMING USING VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER .
- If the control position was reprogrammed on vehicles with lane assist, the directional stabilization assistance control module -J759- must be recalibrated. Refer To LANE ASSIST CALIBRATION PROCEDURE .

Lower Transverse Link

- Always Replace If Removed.

- 70 Nm + 180° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer To WHEEL BEARING WITH COIL SPRING, LIFTING TO CURB WEIGHT POSITION .
Nut
- 95 Nm
- Always Replace If Removed.
- Must be tightened in the curb weight position. Refer To WHEEL BEARING WITH COIL SPRING, LIFTING TO CURB WEIGHT POSITION .
Eccentric Washer
Tie Rod
- There are versions made of aluminum and steel. For allocation, Refer To the Parts Information..
- A mixed installation is not permitted.
Eccentric Bolt
Diagonal Brace
- Removing and installing, Cabriolet, Refer To DIAGONAL BRACE, CABRIOLET .
- Removing and installing, Sportback, Refer To DIAGONAL BRACE, SPORTBACK .
Left Support

- 55 Nm
Bolt
- 115 Nm + 90° turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
- The bolts must not be loosened or tightened when the springs are installed. Release the coil springs using the spring tensioner before loosening or tightening.

- Pre-Tightening Specification: 5 Nm
- Final Tightening Specification: 50 Nm + 90° Turn
- Always Replace If Removed.
Clip
- Not Installed On All Vehicles.
Left Stone Deflector
- Not Installed On All Vehicles.
Center Stone Deflector
- Not Installed On All Vehicles.
Right Stone Deflector
- Not Installed On All Vehicles.
Bolt
- Tightening Specification, Refer To DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B6 COUPE] , DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B2 (COUPE)] , DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B4 AWD] or DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B2 AWD (COUPE)] / DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B4 AWD (COUPE)] .
Rear Final Drive
- Removing and installing, Refer To REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B6 COUPE] , REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B2 (COUPE)] , REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B4 AWD] or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B2 AWD (COUPE)] / REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B4 AWD (COUPE)] .
Differential Crossmember
- Removing and installing, Refer To REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B6 COUPE] , REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B2 (COUPE)] , REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B4 AWD] or REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B2 AWD (COUPE)] / REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION [0B4 AWD (COUPE)] .
- Not installed on vehicles with the Sport differential.
Bolt
- Tightening specification, Refer To DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B6 COUPE] , DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B2 (COUPE)] , DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B4 AWD] or DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B2 AWD (COUPE)] / DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION [0B4 AWD (COUPE)] .
Right Support
Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For the subframe mounting.
- Depending on the model, either a conventional or a hydraulic bonded rubber bushing is installed. Refer To SUBFRAME, STABILIZER BAR, COUPLING ROD AND DIAGONAL BRACE OVERVIEW, AWD . For the correct allocation, Refer To the Parts Information..
- Oil on the hydraulic bonded rubber bushing is a sign of wear.
- Replacing, Refer To SUBFRAME BONDED RUBBER BUSHING AND HYDRAULIC BONDED RUBBER BUSHING .
- Always replace on both sides.
Subframe
- Subframe with attachments, removing and installing, Refer To SUBFRAME WITH ATTACHMENTS .
Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For The Rear Final Drive Mount.
- Replacing, Refer To FRONT RUBBER BONDED BUSHING FOR REAR FINAL DRIVE .
Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For The Rear Final Drive Mount.
- Replacing, Refer To REAR RUBBER BONDED BUSHING FOR REAR FINAL DRIVE .
Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- For the subframe mounting.
