Windshield Wiper Motor -V-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer To WINDSHIELD WIPER ARMS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles Through 05/2008:

-- Remove the seal -arrow-.

-- Unclip and remove the plenum chamber covers -1 through 3-.

Vehicles From 06/2008:

-- Remove the screws -3-.

-- Remove the clips -2- from the mount and remove the plenum chamber cover -1-.

-- Remove the securing clips -2- -arrow A-.

CAUTION:

The cowl panel trim could be damaged.

Coat the space between the windshield and the cowl panel trim with some soapy water.

-- Carefully remove the cowl panel trim -1- starting at the edge of the glass vertically from the windshield -arrows B-

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the rain water drain channel -3- on the linkage -arrow A-.

-- Remove the bolts -4, 5 and 6-.

-- Rotate the wiper arm frame -1- with the linkage and wiper motor upward -arrow B- and pull it forward out of the plenum chamber.
