Multimedia System Control Head -E380-, Removing And Installing: Removing

Vehicles With Automatic Transmission:

-- Switch on the ignition.

-- Place the selector lever in the "S" position.

-- Switch off the ignition.

All Vehicles:

-- Remove The Key.

The Multimedia Control Head -E380- Is Fastened -1- With Springs In The Center Console -Arrows-.

-- Remove The Climate Control Trim -1-, Refer To DISPLAY AND CONTROL HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING Display and Control Head and fold the grommet -2- on the gearshift lever upward.

-- Unlock the spring using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 and lift the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- -3- upward and out of the center console -arrows-.

Be Careful Of The Short Wires To The Multimedia System Control Head -E380-, The Electromechanical Parking Brake Button -E538- And The Access / Start Authorization Button -E408-.

-- Disconnect the connectors on the back side.

Remove The Electromechanical Parking Brake Button -E538- and Access / Start Authorization Button -E408-, Refer To ELECTROMECHANICAL PARKING BRAKE BUTTON -E538- / -AUTO HOLD- BUTTON -E540-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and ACCESS / START AUTHORIZATION BUTTON -E408-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
