Driver/Front Passenger Seat Heating Element -Z6- / -Z8-, Removing And Installing, Sport Seat: Installing

-- Align the new heating element on the padding.

CAUTION:

Make sure the new seat heating element is affixed to the old heating element.
Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

-- Bond the individual areas of the heating element in the sequence -A-, -C-, -D- and -E-.

-- Bond the bolster area -B- last on all cover versions except the basic fabric.

-- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps -arrows-.

-- Pull the wire -3- through the slit in the padding -1-.

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal.
