Backrest Heating Element -Z7- / -Z9-, Removing And Installing, Comfort Seat: Installing

-- Align the new backrest heating element on the padding -1-.

CAUTION:

Make sure the new backrest bolster heating elements are bonded so they line up with the old ones.
Remove the protective films in the bonding sequence for the heating element area.
When removing the protective film, make sure the heating element is not damaged and that it is attached without wrinkles.

-- Bond the individual areas of the heating element in the sequence -A-, -B-, -C- and -D-.

-- Route the connecting wires to the individual heating surfaces in the base of the gaps -arrows-.

-- Pull the wire -3- through the slit in the padding.

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal.
