Clamping Sleeves, Installing:
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Make sure that dimension -A- of 5.7 mm maximum is observed. Dimension -A- must never be greater than 5.7 mm, otherwise there may be leaks.
-- Insert a new clamping sleeve and tighten it with the :VAS6199 .
-- Align the tie rod so that tie rod ends pins are in the installation position.
-- Insert the tie rod into the wheel bearing housing all the way.
-- Install the wheel and tighten. Refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
-- Axle alignment is required. Refer to the table in EVALUATING NEED FOR AXLE ALIGNMENT .
