-- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANELS .

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the rear lid remote unlock switch.

-- Release the clip -1- and press the trim -2- with the rear lid remote unlock switch out of the door trim -arrow-.

-- Carefully release the retaining hooks -arrows- using a small screwdriver.
