- Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.
-- Remove the handle with bracket. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE HANDLE WITH BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Drill out the rivets -1-.
-- Remove the support plate -2- from the backrest frame -3-.
