Rear Seat Backrest, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer To SEAT BENCH/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles equipped with backrest heating: disconnect the backrest heating harness connector.

-- Open cover -1- of connector station -2-.

-- Disengage control cable bracket -3-.

-- Disengage the release cable -4- at the release cable connector -5-.

-- Remove the center bracket cover -5-. Refer To CENTER STORAGE COMPARTMENT COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -4-.

-- Remove the securing bracket -3- from the center bracket -2-.

-- Release the backrest.

-- Remove the backrest -1- from the center bracket -2-.

-- Remove the backrest out of the outer bracket toward the center of vehicle.
