Locking Mechanism Trim, Removing And Installing, Locking Mechanism Without Lock Cylinder: Installing

Fig 1: Clipping On Center Rear Of Trim Must Be Destroyed After Removing Trim With Lock Cylinder

-- Guide the front clips -arrow- under the cover.

-- Make sure the cover is covered by the rear part of the trim -1-.

-- Press the front of trim -1- down until the clips -arrows- engage audibly in the retainer.

-- Press the section of trim -1- marked with an -arrow- down at an angle until the center rear clip engages audibly in the retainer.

NOTE:

The Illustration Shows Trim With A Lock Cylinder.

The Trim -1- Is Seated Securely Once It Engages Audibly With The Retainer.

-- Make Sure The Button -2- Moves Easily After Installing The Trim.
