Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- Overview

The construction of the brake system vacuum pump -- depends on the engine.

The electrical brake system vacuum pump -- is switched on by the engine control module depending on the intake line pressure.

Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192-

Check Valve
- Removing and Installing, refer to CHECK VALVE .
- Checking, refer to CHECK VALVE, CHECKING .
Brake System Vacuum Pump -- Bracket
- Removing and Installing, refer to Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- BRACKET .
Bracket Nut
- 20 Nm

The electrical vacuum pump -- is switched on by the engine control module depending on the intake line pressure.

NOTE:

It is necessary to remove the left front wheel housing liner in order to remove the vacuum pump, refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

NOTE:

View brake system vacuum pump -- from underneath after removing the left front wheel housing liner.

Bracket
- To remove, remove the brake system vacuum pump --.
- Removing and Installing, refer to Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- BRACKET, RS 5 .
Bracket Bolt
- 20 Nm
Electrical Connector

  NOTE:
  It is necessary to remove the left front wheel housing liner in order to remove the vacuum pump, refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

- Secondary pump hose bracket.
- 20 Nm
