Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Vas 5051B/ 5052 Connecting And Selection Functions

Special tools and workshop equipment required

-- Connect the VAS 5051/5a diagnostic cable connector to diagnostic connection.

-- Switch tester on.

The tester is ready for use when the vehicle symbol is displayed.

-- Turn on the ignition.

-- Touch the field / the button on the screen: Guided Fault Finding.

-- Select in succession:

-- Confirm data entered.

Wait until tester has checked all control modules in vehicle.

-- Press the go to button and select "function/component selection".

-- Select "suspension" on the display.

-- Select "brake system" on the display.

-- Select "001 - OBD-capable system" in the display.

-- Select on display "Antilock brake system...".

-- Select on display "Function".

Now, all possible functions of the anti-lock brake system installed in the vehicle will be displayed.

-- Select desired function on display.
