Front Brake Caliper, Replacing: Installing

NOTE:
Always use new bolts .
-- Position the brake carrier.
-- Tighten the brake carrier with new bolts -5-.
-- Install the brake hose into the brake caliper and tighten.
-- Install brake pads, refer to BRAKE PADS .
NOTE:
After replacing the brake pads, press the brake pedal firmly several times while the vehicle is stationary so that the brake pads are seated properly in their normal operating position.
-- Remove V.A.G 1869/2.
-- Bleed brake system, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM, BLEEDING
-- Mount the wheels.
Wheel bolt tightening specification, refer to WHEEL BOLT TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
