Brake Pads: Removing
-- Raise the vehicle.
-- Remove the wheels.
When removing, mark brake pads that will be used again. Install in the same position, otherwise braking effect will be uneven!
-- Remove the caps -13-.
-- For vehicles with the brake wear pad indicator, disconnect the left front connector -4-.
-- Lift securing strap slightly at bottom of connector and then rotate 90°.
-- Remove the lower part of the brake pad wear indicator connector from the bracket.
-- Using screwdriver, pry off brake pad retaining spring from brake caliper housing and remove.
-- Loosen and remove both guide pins -12- from the brake caliper.
Secure the brake caliper to the vehicle with a suitable wire. Do not support the weight with the brake hose.
-- Remove brake pads from brake caliper housing or from brake carrier.
