-- Remove the upper and lower springs -12-.

-- Press the brake pistons back with the T10145.

NOTE:

The brake pistons with the old pads still installed can pressed back to allow all brake pistons in the brake caliper to be pressed back evenly.

Before removing old brake pads, press brake piston into cylinder using resetting tool.

Be careful not to damage the coating on the brake caliper.

Before pushing back the piston, siphon some of the brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir. Otherwise, especially if reservoir has been topped off, fluid will overflow and cause damage.

WARNING:

Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER siphon brake fluid with your mouth!

-- Remove the upper and lower brake pads from the caliper.

-- Clean the brake caliper housing.

NOTE:

Clean brake caliper with mineral spirits exclusively.
