Brake Pedal, Automatic Transmission: Removing

-- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover -1 to 3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -C- on the footwell vent.

-- Remove the footwell vent -A-.

-- Remove the brake lamp sensor, refer to BRAKE LAMP SENSOR .

WARNING:

If possible, leave the brake pedal stop installed; it could break the mount for the brake lamp sensor if the brake pedal is released too quickly.

-- Remove the bolt -11-.

-- Remove the retainer -5- and remove the pins -4- to the left.
