Oil Pump And High Pressure Pump Drive Chain, Removing And Installing: Installing

Secure crankshaft -1- in "TDC" position using :T40237 .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Stop the high pressure pump chain sprocket with the :T40245 .

NOTE:

The illustration shows the chain sprocket with the lower timing chain cover installed.

-- Install camshaft timing chain. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the :T40245 for the high pressure pump chain sprocket.

-- Install the timing chain cover lower section. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
