Front Muffler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove The Engine Cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CYMC, CYRB, CYRC, CWPB, DAXB, DAXC, CJEB, CJED, CJEE, CNCD, CNCE, CUHA, CUJA, CNCB, CUHB, DAYB, CYGA, CYNB, CYPA, CYPB, CYYA, CVJA ENGINES] , ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CLAB, CLAA, CDUC, CGQB, CKVB, CKVC, CDUD, CPNB, CTCB, CTCC, CVUA, CVUB ENGINES] , ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CYNB ENGINES] .

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to REAR NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the nuts -1- from the front muffler accessible from the top.

-- Remove the nut -1- and bolt -3- for the front muffler.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the front exhaust pipe.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the coupling.

Coupling must not be bent more than 10°.
Do not load the coupling on the cable.
Do not damage the wire mesh on the coupling.

-- Loosen the threaded connections -arrows-, slide the clamping sleeve to the rear and remove the front muffler.
